Fees

SLT Leeds can provide 1:1 communication assessment, intervention plans, ongoing therapy and support. This can be booked on a session-by-session basis or block booked as appropriate to ensure consistent and regular input.

We can also provide group sessions if suitable referrals are received for group work.

Skype sessions are available and are more suitable for some children and adults, they are charged at the same rate as face-to-face sessions. Please ask if this is suitable for you.

We can also provide training, guidance and advice to people working with or supporting people with communication needs and difficulties.

Therapy sessions usually last for 5O minutes and payment is taken before your session starts (usually at the time of booking).

Cancellations must be made with a minimum of 24 hours notice or longer otherwise payment will need to be taken.

Initial short discussion/review/signposting services over the phone	Free
Assessment sessions: This includes information gathering, case history, observations, informal and formal assessment plus discussion, verbal recommendations, liaising with other professionals. A single page summary report will be provided. NB. Assessments can vary in length and take longer than 1 session- the therapist will discuss this with you.	£90 per session
Ongoing Therapy sessions: This includes preparation, administration of the session, intervention, resources and discussion with support staff/parent/carer	£70 per session
Programme of work for school/other support to carry out tailored for each person’s individual need.	£ on Enquiry
Training, teaching and presentations	£ on Enquiry
Reports/ letters/ paperwork. Copies are sent to the client to distribute. Some reports may take longer and therefore may cost more but this will be discussed and agreed.	£70 per item
Attendance at meetings/consultation	£70 per hour
Shorter sessions (30 minutes) Shorter sessions to be agreed after assessment and dependent on need/frequency.	£50 per session

If you find these costs prohibitive please get in touch as we can sometimes signpost organisations that can support the cost of private therapy. Please note that you are entitled to free Speech and Language Therapy through the NHS and a referral can be made through your GP.
